Can we create an index to ODS (0BBP_SC) which is delievered by SAP.Please suggest any issues if we can create an index on this.
Is index Index SKip Scan will provide improvement in performance?

display red cross for formula variable
Hi expert,
I have a string type character including only numeric values in a cube, and a same string type attribute with numeric values in a info-object. I want to compare this character with this attribute, if their values are the same, then present corresponding Key figure value.
so I created two formula variable converting this character and attribute into number key figure. but I put those two formula variables into two different CKF, but when I run bex query in analyser. then no data display in those two CKF, only red cross show up.
I also set this char and attribute type to NUMC, but still does not work.

How the delta gets captured without changelog in ADSO ?
Hi Gurus,
If we select below ADSO modeling property which don't have change log in it , how it can ensure Delta also got captured ?
Keep Inbound Data, Extract from Inbound Table
If you select this option, no data is retained in the change log. The extraction thus always reverts to the data of the inbound table, irrespective of whether you load data in the delta or full procedure.

Convert 0calday to 0fiscper
Hi experts,
I get an error when loading data from an Ods to infocube.
Error to convert the 0calday (01.01.1016) to 0fiscper.
The convertion from 01.01.2016 to 0fiscper work fine.
I know ta i must update 1016 to 2016.
But why SAP BW dont accepte this fiscal year(1016)?
Witch intervalle accepting by BW?

Custom Hierarchy, is this possible?
Hi guys,
Just wanted to ask if I can achieve this design by creating HIERARCHY in RSH1? If not, what can I do to achieve this aside from creating several SELECTIONS in query designer? The only problem I am encountering are the fields in highlighted in GREEN (like the EBITDA, EBIT, EBT, and NET PROFIT) since their RESULT refers to other nodes..Can I do something to make this work in hierarchy?
The fields highlighted in YELLOW can be done in hierarchy since it will just sum the values under that node..But how can I solve the fields highlighted in GREEN? Is there a way to HIDE the values under a node so that the sum of the nodes will only be shown?
P.S.

Remove root node from display but main node should SUM
Hi,
In relation with my previous post, is it possible to HIDE the root nodes in a hierarchy but the main node should display the SUM of its root nodes?

For example, in the image below I will add the ROW 152, 154, and 155 again under the row 158 since I need to get their sum for NET PROFIT..However, since I wanted to achieve the layout below, I need to hide the added rows under net profit but I still wanted to get the SUM and show it for NET PROFIT value..Is it possible?

How to Hide Root node of a hierarchy in BEx.

Is it possible to show 0HIER_NODE in the hierarchy even if it doesn't have a value or a nodes under it? Like the NET PROFIT in my example below, is it possible to be shown in the hierarchy?

Repeat delta not workink
Hi all,
I have loaded a request from DSO to an infocube,then I have deleted this request from the cube.
When I try to reload the same request by delta I get 0 records and any repeat delta asked .
The request is always available in thé DSO and is marcked in thé Chang log à request not available in data target.
Can you please tell me how i can get m'y request from the DSO.
I work in BW 3.5 flow data.

SAP BW Data Model Documentation
Dear Experts,
I have requirement to document end to end data model flow in SAP BI system.
This should include full data flow from Multiprovider to PSA with all objects involved, Transformations mappings and if any routines used in mappings, DTPs and logics used in it if any, fields in each object.
Similarly for Report level as well.
I wanted to know if there is any good way to accomplish this in SAP BI Workbench with less manual work. Or if there is any free tool i can use to extract this info.
