Dear Gurus,
I have a question on sizing of data that can be handled by BW on Oracle Data base system for getting consistent performance.
We have a scenario where it is having billions of records to be stored for Analytics purpose.
Are there any guidelines how much BW (with oracle) is recommended to support in terms of data volumes in Terabytes (TBs) with a good performance.
In our scenario where we will have data coming from SAP CI system 160 GB data per day with retention of 13 months. And another system that will provide data is SAP-CC which will provide data around 490 GB per day. So in total if we go by this volume only - we may end up storing 0.15*30*13+.48*30*13 = 245 TB data volume.
This is the data volume of source and after we aggregate - we are expecting data volume to be stored around 50 TB. Can we use BW on Oracle for this or BW on HANA for this?
Note: These are the volumes before any compression mechanism.
Regards,
Anil
