How Material Quantity can be split in to batch wise

Hi Folks,

I have to enhance existing report.It is important for me and urgent requirement.

Regarding Report: Report had Transaction data in Material level. Data source is Generic in BW system [Data mart] getting transaction data from

                            different DSO's [having sources 2LIS_11_VAITM and APO planning data]

                            From Generic data source in ECC we are having view from tables MACH1 and MARA table we have batch information

                            with batch expiry data in material level

                            [Since it is pharma industry for each material have many batches means one to many]

                            Now user wants to delete some wastage quantity at batch level by using logic and need to display remaining qty at material level..

QUESTION: How can we split the material transaction data in to batch wise to apply user logic. [Need functional level explanation]
