We have a flow at SAP BW on Oracle. Clients wants to move this flow to SAP BW on HANA.

Naming standard mismatch error while trying to release transport request
Hi,
I needed to enhance the COPA datasource with field VV913 .This field was already there in the Operating Concern so I just deleted the datasource and regenerated it using tcode KEB0 and then activated the datasource in RSA6.All these changes got saved in a workbench request.
Now when I try to release the request I get a 'naming standard mismatch error' for the extract structure that had got regenerated.
Kindly help me with this.

Short dump while running RSA3 for 2LIS_13_VDITM
Hi,
I have written the below code to populate the below fields on to my billing item extractor, the syntax and all looks correct but when I go to RSA3- extact checker to look at data, I'm getting a short dump. In ZZSD_ORDER_STATUS, VBELN data element is VBELN_VA that's the reason I have defined in DATA and then made as local variable. May be something in this code causing the issue. I'm not that good in writing ABAP. Any idea to anyone by looking at below code ? Thankyou

Web Method and BW
Hi Guys
I have an existing BW system . client wants data into Webmethod system. BW will serve as source here.
i am not sure where to store data in BW so that i can send it to Web Methods system. Additionally not sure how to do the mapping and all.
Can anyone help me out who have already been through this? Any documents would be very helpful.

BW on CRM : Data Source not loading data
Hi,
I am trying to use the data sources delivered with BI Content, and I want to fill the cube0CRM_C04. I found that it is linked to the infosource 80CRM_C04 . So I tried to import the data from the appropriate data source, but I was stuck( no data is loaded ), because the source system, is the BW server itself (BPP : view attached document) .
What can I do ?

Unable to find and activate the transfer structure.
Dear Experts,
We are Migrating the SAP BI 7.0 Production System in to SAP BW 7.4 on HANA .
While we are migrating we had been stuck up due to the below error.
Error message: "Transfer structure" "0SALESORG_TEXT_PA" "NOT activated successfully" "Activate man ually"
Now I am unable to find the Transfer structure 0SALESORG_TEXT_PA in SAP BW system.
Kindly give me the solution to find and activate the above transfer structure.

how to get region billing invoice sales/collection in report
Hi all,
1. I successfully made report on as on date sales/collection region billing invoice wise report.
2. Then SD team added some test data for a billing document no.9015000320 in VBRK TABLE .They changed the region for a customer 40071 from 07 to 08 region.
3. Before i was not able to see the latest data in my 0SD_C03,THEN after scheduling v3 job then now i can see latest data whatever they added,but region is coming as 07 not 08.
4. In SAP ECC level i can see the region 08 for same customer but its not reflecting in cube level.
5.I deleted all DTP request and loaded again.
6. somebody please help me ,I am very new in SAP BI .I will be waiting for the response ,if i will be successful in getting region according to billing invoice then i can ask client to move this issue to PRODUCTION.

BI Add field to Multiprovider
Hi,
I have a scenario where I will have to add a field which is in reference to the material number and will contain only the first 7 chars of the MATNR field. I have a multiprovider to which this has to be added.
This is what I have done. Created a DSO with the Material Number as the key and then the New field with 7 chars as a data field. Then executed a transformation from 0MATERIAL to this DSO and converting the Material Number to 7 digits in the new field with the help of a routine.
Added this to the existing multiprovider and the new field doesn't show any data when I do display for the multiprovider though the new DSo has that field with data. I hope I was clear with the query. Can you give some ideas as to how to handle this scenario ? Will appreciate any help.

Include one MD info objects in the Cube
Hi,
I need to include one MD info objects in the Cube and underlying DSO which is in 3x flow for reporting in BEx query for Finance appln.
As of now i have 40+ million records in cube.We are having daily delta load and daily reporting.
If any body came across this type of situation.Pls share the experience and best practice for developing and the deleting the data and loading the data.
If we delete the whole data what will be the best practice to load again . What about DSO data..

how to get latest data from 0fi_ar_04 infocube
hi all,can some body help me how can i get latest data in my 0fi_ar_04 infocube.i can see only data of 2014 data when i m using display data .
actually i am using a multiprovider for using two infocube togather on is 1) SD_C03 AND 2)0FI_AR_04 .....to make a report region billing invoice wise sales /collection report in SAP BI .
then before moving to production they added test data on 11/12/2015 with a different invoice for 40071 customer with a region 08 .
so in 0SD_C03 INFOCUBE I can see all latest data and 08 region also came for 40071 customer.
but for 0FI_AR_04 INFOCUBE i am getting till datasource level in BI.....but not able to get at cube level in SAP BI.
I tried deleting old DTP request and loaded again but stil i cant get latest data.
data is flowing through DSO TO CUBE FOR 0FI_AR_04.
When i am checking in multiprovider for display data then i can see data till 201509 fiscal year and also for customer i get region as 07 but not as08.
please some body help i am very new in SAP BI also i dnt have any teammates or team lead .i will be very thankful and i will be waiting for your reply ,please help me i in huge pressure.

Latest data is not showing in the InfoCube 0FIAR_C03
Hi Everyone,
I am making a FI report and for that i have latest data at datasource( FI_AR_04) level, but at infocube (0FIAR_C03) i am getting the old data upto 07/2014, but not getting the latest data of current date.
So can you please suggest me why its not coming and what i have to do to bring the latest data upto infocube level.

Info object is not being checked post upgrade for any report
Hi,
we have an issue with post BW upgradation, we have upgraded from BW 3.5 to 7.3 and we have only one authorization restriction on workcentre in 3.5 and same implemented in 7.3, Based on that we have created analysis authorizations for each workcentre. While we are testing with specific workcentre roles unfortunately we could able to see data for all workcentres.
I could see that workcentre info object is not being checked in log report while executing report.
FYI: info objec is already marked as authorisation relavent
we have placed workcentre info object in each analysis authorisation.
this info object is there in another info object as NAV (which is not marked as authorisation relavent)
could you please help me to provide your advises to fix this issue. thanks!

RSTT trace / check if aggregates are used
Hi experts,
Is there a possibility to check if aggregates are used when I have a RSTT trace?
Background: I have a Design Studio application with bad performance and I'm wondering if the aggregates in the BW backend are used correctly. It's not possible to check the query due to the fact that within the Design Studio Application a lot of characteristics will be replaced via script.

Check date format in FM

I have a requirement.
When data is loaded from Generic Data source created using FM ---> DSO, My load is getting failed due to Invalid date or time format entered by users in ECC. To avoid the load failures we are maintaining an exception table so that whenever a record with invalid date or time comes below code will handle that and write to an exception table instead of passing to DSO.
Some how same kind of code works for wrong time format but not working for wrong date format. Can you please help me out on priority
