My requirement is to show statistical delivery date +30 days as a new statistical delivery date in my report.
I have used ADD_TO_DATE formula in Transformation to get this done. its working if we have order date.
few scenarios where statistical delivery is empty. bcz of this my data loads are failing due to error in formula.
Can anybody tell me how to handle this.

I have virtual infocube and I want add this cube to multiprovider.
But I encountered such a problem that I don't see data in query, based on multi. When I execute similar query based on Virtual Cube data is exist.
Can somebody explain where are my problem?

does anyone know how to read data from a Composite Provider by any ABAP Class or FM or whatever? The classic FM "RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ" for instance does not work. Further functions like FM for reading data alternativly by using a query are also outdated as they don't recognize the "@3...." at the beginning the "Infoproviders' Name".
Any help is kindly appreciated.

i have a requirement to show sicknes cost. Now this calculation has to be sickness hours * Hourly Rate for each employee. I created CKF for this in the bex. the bex is multiplying the total number of hours for all employess into total hourly rate which is wrong.
for e.g
employee Hourly Rate Sickness hours
1 10 5
2 20 10
total sickness cost should be (10*5) + (20*10) = 250
whereas the query is currently doing 30 * 15 = 450.
Any idea what can i do.

As we come across loads in BW system , we find thatsometimes when records are been pulled from R3 system or any other system to DSO. We find that the records sent and records inserted are loaded properly but the DSO is not getting activated and it fails again and again as we try to repeat the step.
As show in the figure.
It gives a error message as following
Request REQU_DIP2U0H3F7HPRSV6ABOBKNVKO(249.473) has not or not correctly been updated, Please edit.
But when we search in the process chain for the request id we do not get it.
This is due to, this requested belongs to the older loads which might have been not processed. So it has got stuck.so we need to process those first so that this DSO gets activated after those records are processed.
So we need to first find in which date that request ID has been stuck.
GoTo Tcode SE16 and type the table name :- RSSELDONE and click on table contents
Provide
the request id in the Request number field. We will get the request number
where the DSO is getting failed as mentioned in the first screen.
Execute it
We get the date of the request id in SELDATE as shown below.
After getting the date from SELDATE we can go in Tcode RSMO
We can go to the particular date and correct the loads. After correcting we can then activate the DSO.

We have a P&L Report implemented in SAP BI and data is coming from 0FI_GL_10 datasource.
We would like to make it a drilldown able report on Material and Country.
Currently we dont have any field coming from 0FI_GL_10 datasource to include characterstics like Country and Material.
We also have Line Item data coming from 0FI_GL_14 datasource but it does not have commulative balance 0BALANCE.
Please let me know how we can achieve this thing.

I have few DTP requests that failed to load Hierarchies into a Info Object.
How can I delete that particular request before loading again.
We have Manage option for Attribute and Text to change the QM Status of the requests.
But for Hierarchy on Right Click we have no option to Manage the requests.
i have over 70 million entries in my current DSO with Deltas in process everyday , Material movements.
i have a request to add a new field to the DSO and get its historical values that are currently available in PSA via the standard extractor 2lis_03_bf
whats the best way to get this done? will i lose data after remodeling the DSO

I have one PC which gets data from ECC to BW DSO target in Production and it is running since from long.
Now I have developed Info cube so I wanted add new DTP process which gets data from DSO to Infocube.
Is it possible add another DTP in to already running PC? If yes do i need to take care anything?

In IP(Integrating Planning) , through 'Input ready query' whenever I am updating any field, along with it I also want to capture and store this date and time of update into the real-time infocube.

I am recently working for a middle east client. They wish to see the SAP BW reports in Arabic.
I think we can achieve it through "translation setting" and "Unicode" setting. But I don't have any idea on both. Please help with your inputs.
Also note we have only one ECC system and it is in EHP6, we have to pull data from ECC to BW. We have SAP BW 7.3.

Hi gurus, Can the SUM option "Standard" (downtime-minimized) be used with a BW system? Note 851449 - "Changeability of BW objects during the upgrade" isn't clear to me. Will BW data loads and reports still work as usual during the downtime? Is this note a warning that Single System mode must be used?

I have a question with regards to setup tables fill up for 2LIS_03_UM.
-Initially deltas from 2014 have been setup for 2LIS_03_BF's and data has been loaded to a Custom-DSO. Later data from 2004-2013 has also been loaded to the custom DSO. Now 2004-2013 data should be loaded to 0IC_C03 from DSO for BF data.
-2LIS_03_UM deltas from 2014 have been setup. Now I need to fill setup tables for data from 2004-2013. I'm going to fill the setup tables using Company code, fiscal year fields. This data should be loaded to 0IC_C03. Inorder to do this, as a first step I have deleted the setup tables for app.component 03 using LBWG as I found 20 records in setup tables related to 2LIS_03_BF.
As a second step, I am trying to fill up the setup tables for 2LIS_03_UM. However I am getting them message that "DATASOURCE 2LIS_03_BF HAS STILL DATA TO BE TRANSFERRED". I couldn't proceed further.
So, my questions here are
1. Do I have to request ECC downtime in order to fill the setup tables. (Remember, I only intend to fill up for 2LIS-03-UM.)
2. "DATASOURCE 2LIS_03_BF HAS STILL DATA TO BE TRANSFERRED" is the message I have been receiving while trying to fill up for 2lis_03_um. What does this mean? Is this somehow related to unprocessed requests in SM13. Or is this being encountered as the deltas are running(daily twice) and they are queued up.
Please suggest me what needs to be done here ASAP, If possible.

for using delta I must use timestap or numeric or .... in table or structure , But if in table there aren't any field for date or timestamp,how to do?
I must add date field to each standard table that use for bi ?

I have a standard DSO Zfigl_o10. I have loaded data into DSO and checked data in New table for 4 info objects(chars), and the data is available.
When I activated the DSO and checked again the data is not available for the 4 info objects(chars).
I have already loaded the master data for the 4 info objects and checked in the master tables(especially in SID tables) and there's no problem with the data.
All the four Info objects are standard EX: 0Country,0profit center,0pcompany and 0move_type.
I have checked in the source also, I mean Iam pulling the data from another DSO and the issue is same with that as well.
Please let me know if needed any more info...

We are on SAP BW 7.4 version..
As part of enhancement we are supposed to increase the length of "Characteristic Infoobject" from 60 to higher value
1)while increasing we see Routine Conversion issue which is "ALPHA", If we remove and perform this activity then it is successful
But could any one share your experiences regarding issues that can be faced if we use this method
2)Another method is Master data deletion in ODS,Cubes,Infobject
If we perform this option could any share what can be the issues while reloading

Hi All,
I have a requirement to change the priority of BI jobs running in ECC (i.e. Infopackage job running in ECC.. have to make it B from default priority C ). I have gone through other threads but couldn't find any solution on that.
Please let me know if anybody has done something on this.
