I have a delta load that runs daily to pull Billing Item data (2LIS_13_VDITM). In the last month or two, it seems to always fail/hang up on Monday mornings. It doesn't actually 'fail' during my process chain, it just never finishes.
The load in RSMO shows the following information:
Short dump in the Warehouse
Diagnosis
The data update was not completed. A short dump has probably been logged in BW providing information about the error.
System Response
"Caller 70" is missing.
Further analysis:
Search in the BW short dump overview for the short dump belonging to the request. Pay attention to the correct time and date on the selection screen.
You get a short dump list using the Wizard or via the menu path "Environment -> Short dump -> In the Data Warehouse".
Error correction:
Follow the instructions in the short dump.
The short dump happens 2 hours after the load begins, so I'm not sure that the dump(s) are related to the error.
I repeat the delta approximately 6 hours later (after deleting the failed load from the targets) and it will hang up a second time at the same place with the same issue. At this point, there is a tRFC error. This morning's status error stated 'connection closed (no data)'.
I have not found any reason that this one specific load should fail only on one day each week - it is the exact same load/extract every single day and this only happens on Monday mornings. I have not found any weekly job that is running on BW or SAP that could be causing an issue.
