BPS_WB application transport issue
Hi Experts,
One of the BPS_WB Application is missing in Production and QA,, so i tried to collect it from the SE80 tocode from Dev and moved to QA.
But after transport, i can able to see the application in SE80 but not able to see in BPS_WB tcode.
Would you please suggest me how to capture the missing application to see this in BPS_WB transaction.
I captured the application as below from SE80:
Select the BSP Application and give the Application and right click on the Node of Application-->Other Function-->write to Transport.
But cannot see this application in BPS_WB tcode in Quality after import of the TR.

How to Create a Single Key Figure for LC and GC in IP
Hello Experts,
We are using IP functionality in our Project.
We got a new requirement to create an E2E flow for a new Dataset with 6 "Amount" Key Figures.
And our client wants to them for both Local Currency and Global Currency. I believe when we choose Key Figure as "Amount" it's should be mandatory to provide currency/unit of measure.
Therefore, I have given unit as "0CURKEY_LC" and create them as LC Key Figures, According to me, In order to do the currency translation its mandatory to have LC and GC along with currency translation type variable in the planning function so that will give LC as source Key Figure , GC as target Key Figure.
But in this situation, I am getting confused, Does anybody know how to create a Key Figure to use for both LC and GC in IP ( Integration Planning)?

No data with Delta DTP after repair infopackage
Hi,
we're loading data via delta IP into a DSO and afterwards via delta into an infocube. Because we were missing some data I ran a repair infopackage into DSO. After activating DSO with the missing data (DSO now contains all data) I started the delta DTP into the cube. But the delta DTP didn't load any data from DSO. What am I missing? Is there a special setting in the delta DTP?

SAP BO Analysis for Office - Authorization variables Customer Exit
Hello SAP BO AO Heroes!!!!
Hereunder is my problems description.
- Problem with authorization variables by customer exit
- I have built Authorization concepts thanks to a DSO containing the authorized values for a couple of objects per user
- On top of it I built a user exit variable and the relevant authorization object which I assigned to my user (according to the SAP Note 1561635)
- I am allowing to set either blank or "*" values for a given object (my exit manage both)I have implemented a Step 3 in order to manage the non authorized values messages
- I tried with a Customer Exit direct input ready and not input ready
- Result:
- When I run the Analysis for office report (or even with the bex it does the same), I never get any restricted values but all the possible values
- I tried also to do a normal Customer Exit input ready managing the step 3. But even if I trigger an error (error message no RAISE --> RAISE has no effect) the behaviour is the same
- Second problem: How can I (if possible) change the display of Prompt in Analysis for office to get the same layout as in BEX Analyzer (for several multiple values, having only one line but separated by ";")?
I am in the middle of nowhere because I am sure I already did that in the past and it worked. I am even not able to make the SAP Note working!

How to import MSEG table in SAP BW
Hi every one,
i am new with SAP BW and SAP MM.
My Department want to make a Report for Inventory and Material Movement in SAP BW. The Report looks like this:

Plant Name Material Key Material Description Material Type Unit cost Quantity in Stock Quantity in Transit
AA xxx xxx xx xx xx xx
................................
They told me that i should use the table MSEG in SAP MM to pull the necessary Information for the Report. I have a looked at the Data Structure in the table MSEG and i would like to ask you some questions:
1. How can we import the Data from Table MSEG in SAP ERP to SAP BW in order to make the Report? ( i mean the Procedure, i have no Experience, its very nice of you if you can give the Standard Process/ Introduction)
2. How can we calculate the value Quantity in Stock and Quantity in Transit?. Because these Values are grouped by Plant Name, Material Key, Material Description, Material Type?

How to manage Vendor master data in BW
Hi, gurus!
I have the following business requirement. We need to create a report in BW that simulates XK03 standard tcode (ECC).
You know that Vendor master data can depend on:
1. Just Vendor Number
2. Vendor Number + Company Code
3. Vendor Number + Purchasing Organization
I need a report that shows vendor master information regarding end user input (prompt). I mean, If end user runs the report and only provides Vendor Number, report should only show generic master data information (that's to say, those fields that don't depend on Company Code or Purchasing Organization). If end user runs the report and provides Vendor Number and Company Code, report should show generic Vendor master data as well as master data that depends on Company Code. If Vendor Number and Purchasing Organization are provided, report should show generic vendor master data + vendor master data depending on Purchasing Organization too.
I'm thinking about activating 0VEN_COMPC and 0VEN_PURORG standard infobjects. First one presents Company Code as compounding attribute and second one presents "Purchasing Organization" as compounding attribute. Create a multiprovider or an infoset to merge the information of 0VENDOR (or 0VEND_REG) + 0VEND_COMPC + 0VEND_PURORG. Finally create a BEx Query over this structure (multiprovider or infoset).
Which solution do you hardly suggest to solve this situation?

Is it that I have to write routines to fill-up the values for those fields in 2LIS_03_BF transformation to data target? Or is there routines already available for the above in BI content? Please suggest how can I get rid of this situation so as to load data into my target 0IC_C03.

Delta on Generic extractor
Hi Gurus,
Need help. Already read lot of SCN posts. We have a requirement to create a generic extractor on 2 tables (tableA and tableB).
Need to extract the fields from both the tables. Have to apply a filter on a field in table B.
TableA is having 2 date fields(AEDAT & ERDAT) and need delta on both 2 fields. Please correct my understanding.
1) As delta is needed on 2 date fields, i have to create a function module extractor to handle the
delta on both the fields or 2 datasources with view on 2 tables with delta on each date field.
or
2) Can we handle the delta from the infopackage selections on the date fields instead of making
the generic extractor delta enabled? If yes, please let me know the steps to do.
Also which is the preferable way?

SAP BW 3.5 transformations migration to 7.x with routines.
Hi there,
I am trying to migrate transformations from SAP BW3.x flow to SAP 7x flow.
I followed a document for migrating the update rules and transfer rules. There are routines involved for each field in the transformations in SAP BW3.5 flow and I am trying to migrate the code to 7x flow.
I am facing problems as I am unable to source the dso1 fields in end routine , when I am trying to connect transaction value field in source dso to target dso using rule groups and end routine, I am unable to represent the source dso fields in end routine.

Dump on opening Active data table
Hi BW Experts,
I am getting dump in prd when i try to open Active data table of a DSO. On troubleshooting it i found that active table's name is missing in sap's code at line no.709, when matching it with Dev SAP code.
