Data validation from dso
Hi
I am having a sales cube which consists a flow ds dso and cube and from ds to dso full load is going on means there are no restrictions and routines but from dso to cube i am having routines in which we had written routines now my requirement is we had deleted some material types at the routine level now my requirement is now i had to identify what are the materials had been deleted please can any one tell me is there any table to check directly to see what are the materials had been directly.

Issue with SID in 0UNIT
Hi Guys,
I am facing an issue with SID generation for small letters for 0UNIT infoobject.
I have a value coming from source 'kgs' (lower caps) and because of this i am facing SID generation issue and we dont have option to check lowercase at infoobject level for 0UNIT.
Even though this unit 'kgs' is available in table T006, i am facing this issue as SID is not getting generated for small caps at DSO Activation level.
Please help me into this..

Data Load error after BI 7.4 upgrade
Hi,
We are having an error during data load to DSO from DS, it is giving below error messages:

Can anyone help me out with the solution.

Our BI system is live since 3 years and now we installed asset accounting DSO and transported to production. Now can you please help me in loading data into our BW production. what are the step to load without interrupting other loads and also not causing issue in ECC production.

DSO content deletion in process chain
Hi All,
We have added a process Delete data target contents with a DSO in it. The DSO has around 500 thousand million records, But it is taking 15 to 20 min to complete the step. The same, If i right click and delete the data target contents, it is taking less than a minute. We are in the version BW 7.4 SP9 on Hana. Is this because of Hana DB ? Is there a way we can fix this ? Please suggest.

Unable to load Flat file Network server with background job - error in process chain
Hi, I have flat file in Network drive that I would like to load via process chain. Currently getting process chain error during loading. I have recommended placing the files in application server but they only want to give the users access to Network drive to place the files. Does anyone know how I can load the file from Network drive or how to copy the file from Network folder to Application server. Thanks, Bhat

Derive Date To in Routine in Transformation
Good day all, I require your assistance with a field routine (or in the start routine) in a transformation where I need to derive the 'date to' from the 'date from' provided. I will then use these dates to establish if a sub item on a markdown plan is active or not. I have created a custom data source to extract markdown values from ERP, table WMFU. Only the 'date from' is available on a markdown plan. Each markdown plan (MFCNR) can have more than 1 item number (POSNR) and each item number can have more than one sub-item (UPOSN). Data is then also displayed by site (WERKS) and article (ARTNR). From the example below, I need to derive the ‘to’ date as I only need to record the markdown value for the ‘last record’ (or the newest sub-item) for the markdown plan: Example (1) Item 10 on markdown plan A1 has 2 sub items, 10 and 20. The ‘date to’ for sub item 10 must be derived from ‘date from’ from sub item 20 minus 1 day, thus the ‘date to’ for sub item 10 must be recorded as 19.12.2015. Sub item 20 will not have a ‘to’ date and this sub item will be regarded as an ‘active’ item. (2) Item 20 on markdown plan A1 has 3 sub items, 10 and 20 and 30. The ‘date to’ for sub item 10 must be derived from ‘date from’ from sub item 20 minus 1 day, thus the ‘date to’ for sub item 10 will be recorded as 31.10.2015. The ‘to’ date for sub item 20 will be recorded as 30.11.2015. Sub item 20 will not have a ‘to’ date and this sub item will be regarded as an ‘active’ item. (3) If there is only 1 sub item on a markdown plan, then the that sub item will have no ‘to’ date and will then be regarded as ‘active’. The ‘date to’ needs to be established. Data Loading issue.
Hi All,
I am using the datasource 0CO_OM_OPA_6 and it is loading to the Standard Cube 0PS_C04.
I am facing the data load problem in BI production, but it is working fine in BI Development.
While loading the data in BI Production, it is successfully loaded to PSA. While loading from PSA to Cube, the status is showing Yellow for long time and i am getting the dump message as
UNCAUGHT EXCEPTION
The exception "CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE" was raised, but it was not caught anywhere along the call hierachy.
Can you please help on this error.

SAP BW 7.4 Kopieren InfoCube: Fehler beim Schreiben des Initialrecords in die DB-Tabelle
Hallo liebe BW Gemeinde,
ich hab ein SAP BW RElease 7.4 mit Stand:SAPKW74011.
Als DB liegt eine Oracle 12.1.0.2.0 . vor.
Beim 1:1 Kopieren eines Standard Infocubes erhalte ich folgende Fehlermeldung im neuen Cube:
" Fehler beim Schreiben des Initialrecords in die DB-Tabelle".
Meldungsnr. R7852
Der InfoCube wird angelegt und läst sich aktivieren.
DTP und Transformation lassen sich ebenfalls im Nachgang anlegen.
Im SAP Marketplace kann ich zu oben genantem Fehler beim anlegen eines neuen Cubes nichts finden, das mir weiter hilft.

How to recover initial load in BW
Hello Expert/Guru,
I've loaded initail with data transfer and all the data are stored in DSO. and PSA are still exist
and delta has not start yet.
But I deleted the initialization !. Is there the way I can recover initial load in BW. (I dont want to reload everything again it take too long time)
OR Can I just re-initial without data transfer again ?

TVARVC table not getting updated due to Buffer Synchronization
Hi Experts,
The design of my data loads are as follows-
1. Sequence ID Generation program- This program generates the Sequence ID and stores the generated id in TVARVC table lets say variable used as 'SEQUENCE_NO'
2. DTP: exactly after Sequence ID Generation, the DTP loads the data to cube and the Sequence ID from TVARVC table is read and updated via routine.
ISSUE:
I observed a strange behavior, with the data records being updated in the cube. Lets say the initial VALUE of 'SEQUENCE_NO' is 1012. The Program updates the TVARVC table variable and the DTP is triggered. Now the DTP updates few records with Sequence ID as '1012' and few with '1013'.
I searched online for this issue and came to a conclusion that this is happening because of SAP Buffer Synchronization. The program might be updating the table variable at database level but does not commit the work.
I have come across a solution to modify the ABAP code as follows-
MOVE 'SEQUENCE_NO' to c_vname.
UPDATE tvarvc
SET sign = c_i
opti = c_eq
low = w_seqid
WHERE name EQ c_vname
AND type EQ c_type.
IF sy-subrc IS INITIAL.
COMMIT WORK AND WAIT.
ENDIF.
Can you let me know if the above solution will work (to COMMIT the work exactly after the TABLE update).
Please provide your views on the solution or suggest any alternate solution..

Transformation
Hi ,
Please help me on the below issue.
I have a requirement. I have an existing cube ZPURC where PO cost and currency are present. As the load is very huge, a new cube is created year and the PO cost and currency are loaded to that new cube. I am creating a new cube with Supply order id, supply order line , PO amount and currency.
I am getting Supply order line and supply order id data from HANA system. Using these 2 data, I have to retrieve the PO cost and currency from the ZPURC/new cubes. As the cubes are changing every year, I have to change the transformation every year. Is they any way where we can perform the logic without manual intervention every year.

Processing not yet finished, entry 70 still missing
Hi,
I am loading data in full update mode to PSA from R/3
The load is getting failed at 10th package with error "Processing not yet finished, entry 70 still missing"
TRFC in R/3 shows error "Unable to fufill error request for 4004 bytes of memory"
I checked the IDOC both in BW and R/3 which has 10th package with 101000 records but didn't load to BW.
I need to change any control parameters for data transfer in BW or R/3?

0CO_OM_CCA_1's values are not matching with S_ALR_87013611
Hi
We required Act. Costs, Plan Costs and Var.(Abs.) of S_ALR_87013611 in BW so I select 0CO_OM_CCA_1.
But when I run RSA3 on datasource 0CO_OM_CCA_1 the Fixed Amount, Amount and Variable Amount 's values of any GL are 90% not matched with S_ALR_87013611's Act. Costs, Plan Costs and Var.(Abs.) of respected GL in specific year.
Am I select the correct datasource for S_ALR_87013611 If yes what is the issue?
