Could anyone please suggest me which Info cube or DSO, to be activated for 0FI_ACDOCA_10 data source in BW.
We have ECC on HANA and BW is stand alone and not embedded on Hana.
Could anyone please suggest me any architectural solution?

0FI_AR_4 delta(Almost 50000 record) is taking more than 24 Hrs to complete job n R/3 system, what may be the caused and how we can improve the
extraction performance of the Job in R/3 system.
There is no memory issues as other jobs are working properly and executed in just 15 to 20 minutes.

Hi All,
We have process chain in which APD's are added after some other loads.
We added APD'S in RUN ANALYSIS PROCESS.
But the process chain gets failed everyday at APD step.
If we manually generate report related query and then re run the chain it goes success full.
Daily we need to do this manual activity.

I'm looking for a routine that can be used in the selection screen of the DTP .
The previous month must be calculated from the current month . From month need in the value of the last day . With this value, the calendar will be initialized in the selection.
Does anyone have an idea of the routine ?

I am new to BI.I tried to create Analysis Process Designer.
But,I could not do that.For source i used flat file and for target i used DSO.
I did not use any transformations.Using mapping symbol i tried to map source fields and target fields.
But i could not map it.
Is that possible to create apd without transformations? Please explain me ...
Since i am new to SAP, i'm not sure about SAP BW 3.5 Architecture. I want to know whether PSA and change Log Tables are same in SAP BW 3.5.
In SAP BW 7.3,when i'm activating DSO (Standard DSO) ODSR request is generated for Change Log. The Table for Change Log and PSA is different on that case. But on data source created in 3.5, i can find both REQ and ODS requests in PSA itself ( Info package level). So i'm having the question that PSA and change Log tables are same in BW 3.5?

I have created a generic exctractor using functional module.
Data is coming from following tables:
PRPS
COEP
COBK
EKBE
EKPO
BKPF
BSEG
COSS
Key figures are coming from COEP, BSEG and COSS.
- I need to setup delta now, I do have a time stemp field in COEP, should I use it?
- What code I need to put in the functional module in order to setup delta
- If I use time stamp from COEP, what will happen if there is change only in BSEG or COSS or any other tables, will it be picked up in delta?
- Instead of delta, is full load another option in this situation?
Please advice.

I have created a generic DS using Function Module based on Table PA0041.
In RSA3, I am able to extract data( 4413 records)
In BI, when i execute infopackage, it fetches 0 records.
Could anyone please advise why this DS doesn't fetch data to PSA.?

I am working on a ISU report and want to know which ISU BW DataSource in RSA5 is the appropriate one to use that has the information on Price. The field name for PRICE is PREIS and the table name is EPRETH. I've checked ROOSOURCE table but could not find any entries corresponding to this field. The table ROOSFIELD mentions the below mentioned 4 DataSources but none of them is related to ISU module.

0HC_SERVICES
0HC_SERVICES_OU
0RF_STRUKMAT_ATTR
Tables ROOSOLTPSOURCE doesn't have any entries in it.
Can you please let me know if is there any standard BW DataSource available that has Price field? Or do I have to go for generic data source?

Dear Gurus,
we are currently migrating all our 3X workbooks to 7X in this process I have come across an error message while migrating one of the work book where there is only 1 bw query in actual tabs and in back end there 46 queries which where deleted so the migration is not happening .below is the error message from trace please suggest how to go about this.

Hi All,
I am new to SAP BW. As far as i understand, BW sends a request to the source systems which then triggers the extractors that sit on top of the source systems (for instance: ECC). I found in the SAP help documents that ROOSOURCE gives the details about the extractor that is running on a particular source system. I am trying to understand the performance issues in our BW system. I am trying to understand if the job took longer time in ECC (Extracting the data from source) or in BW (loading into BW using the Info package). I am looking for the underlying tables in ECC which have the job information, run times, its status(currently in running or waiting etc).
If anyone could point me to the underlying tables that would be great!

I have an error during DSO activation. According to log I have an issue when creating SIDs for IO 0EANUPC.
This IO has a conversion routine EAN11 (CONVERSION_EXIT_EAN11_INPUT) nevertheless the error seems to be calling a Function Module CONV_EXIT_EAN11_OUTPUT_INTERN which doesn’t exist in BW.

I have a flatfile datasource that includes just no. of employee, month and year.
This datasourse represents the employees that took a certain training.
I want when i load the datasource it automatically get the rest of the master data of those employees (with the emp no in the file)
like PA position ,,,, based on the emp id from the flat file

I facing problem while using CEIL function with hierarchies in BEx query.
Example records
org unit employee no.of.hours(calculated kf with ceil function)
org1 emp1 2.3
org1 emp2 2.4
Here org unit is hierarchy characteristic and it is hierarchy enabled in query.
when we expand the hierarchy in output of the report it showing total value as 6 (ceil(2.3) + ceil(2.3) = 3 + 3 = 6)
But we I collapse the hierarchy it showing output as 5 ( ceil(2.3 + 2.3) = ceil(4.6) = 5).
It is giving problem for users with high count of hours mismatching under some org units.
can you please provide me the solution which give 6 as output in both expand and collapse actions.
Please provide solution at BEx level(requirement need to be implement in BEx query only).

We have recently upgraded our BW system to 7.30 SP9 (on DB2) and installed a new Sybase 16.0 Sp10 NLS system.
I am facing the following issue.
I have created a Data Archive Process , and have successfully executed the write process to the NLS server. Using Program RSDA_SYB_PARTITION_MONITOR:
As you can see 36 records have bee written to NLS, this is also shown the Archive Tab of the Manage cube:
However, when I execute the next process (Target 70 Deletion Phase) I am getting the following error:
The same error occurs for DSO and Cubes.
Any suggestions welcome.
